How to Copy/Paste a product list
If you can export your internal purchase order to an Excel file, you can copy the product code and its quantity and paste them in the Order Express grid. Column headers are not required.
Requirements
- The quantity column can only contain numbers.
- The Product code column must be to the left of the quantity column. If this is not the case in your Excel file, delete the columns in between the Product code column and the quantity column or move the columns to respect the required column order.
To copy the product list
- Open the Excel file that contains the product list.
- If required, adjust the information as indicated above.
- Select the products and their quantity that you wish to paste in the Express order.
- Copy the list (CTRL+C, Menu Edit/Copy, mouse right button/Copy). Do not copy the column headers if they exist in the file.
To paste the product list
- Click the mouse in the first available cell in the Code column (left column) of the Order Express grid.
- Paste the product list (CTRL+V, Menu Edit/Paste, mouse right button/Copy).
Reminders
- If the product code column is not to the left of the quantity column, nothing will be pasted.
- If the product code does not exist, the product will not be pasted.
- If the quantity is not a number, the product will not be pasted.
- If the product code already exists in the Order Express, the pasted quantity will be added to the existing quantity.
